Born in the UK, Kate studied acting at the prestigious NIDA, in Sydney, Australia. While she was there she worked extensively in filmmaking, infront and behind the camera. Her acting credits include Film & TV projects. She also had an opportunity to perform for the Pope in The Stations of the Cross production on his latest visit to Sydney in 2008.

In May 2009 Kate moved to Los Angeles to further her acting skills and to study Directing at UCLA, where she won a scholorship. Her film Cell Phone which she directed in January, is playing at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

Kate is continually developing her own work and has worked with some wonderful directors including Bruce Beresford.
